We recognise that without successful communities, there cannot be successful businesses.
We invest in local organisations that facilitate activities to build and strengthen our community.
Our community investment funding is made possible by the profit generated from banking services provided at our branches.
The Community Strengthening Program is open to not-for-profit community groups and organizations who are working to benefit the community served by Valley Community Financial Services Ltd.
Organisations, clubs, or community groups that apply, must be incorporated, either as associations or companies; should have an ABN; and must be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of fiscal responsibility.
Our program will not approve funding of applications in any of the areas listed below:
Our grants are paid to an organisation to enable programs and projects that benefit, strengthen and enhance our communities. These requests are identified and driven by our community groups and clubs.
We sponsor events, programs, projects or organisations through the provision of money, goods or services in return for marketing opportunities and brand recognition.
Our Community Strengthening Program is open all year round, online applications should be directed to the branch where your account is held.
Grants for Fairs, Festivals and all Community Projects occurs on a twice yearly basis and the cut-off date is 30 March and 30 September.
Enquiries should be directed to our Community Engagement Officer at administration@valleyfinancial.com.au or call 9438 3194.
If an application for a Fair, Festival or Community Project is received outside of the cut-off dates in March and September its merit will be reviewed by the Valley Community Financial Board first. Please contact the Community Engagement Officer to discuss.
We will let you know the outcome of your application within 60 days. Should you have any questions or queries, or require any assistance or guidance with your application, please contact your local Community Bank branch.
